Paul Chaney, Principal and Founder
Founded in 2010, Chaney Marketing Group is the brainchild of veteran Internet marketer Paul Chaney.
Paul’s 17 years of experience, coupled with his passion to help businesses learn how to use the Internet to market more effectively, has gained him a reputation as a knowledgeable, trustworthy resource.
He is the author of four books on the topics of business blogging, social media and social commerce, and is a long-time blogger and freelance writer who contributes to a number of online publications.
His portfolio includes Practical eCommerce, where he is a contributing editor on the topics of social media and social commerce. He has also written for Digital Innovation Today, MarketingProfs and was a blogger for Weblogs, Inc. Recently, he became a columnist for ClickZ.
Paul has worked with MarketingProfs, American Marketing Association, The Knowledge Engineers, Intel, Microsoft, the US Department of Commerce, and the University of Louisiana Lafayette to provide digital marketing training for SMBs, advertising agencies, corporations and non-profits.
He holds the distinction of leading the very first business blogging seminar ever to be held in Asia. He also introduced the concept of using social media for marketing to business owners in Ukraine at the behest of the US Department of Commerce.
Deb has a background in education, information design, digital marketing, and content writing. She holds a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and has more than 10 years of experience creating deliverables and coordinating projects for clients in a diverse range of industries including financial services, insurance, telecommunications, hotel and restaurant, retail health and beauty, and industrial manufacturing/B2B.
In addition to her work with CMG, Deb works as a Virtual Assistant specializing in helping entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses with their administrative, digital marketing, and back-office tasks.
